- SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups will be temporarily suspending activities due to an injury.
- On July 1, SEVENTEEN’s agency issued the following statement:
- This is Pledis entertainment.
While attending an event scheduled for Wednesday, June 30, Coups fell, hit the floor with his right shoulder, and received medical attention. He received additional abrasions and wounds on his forehead, ear, and right chin and was treated for these injuries.
After a medical examination, the doctor advised that, fortunately, he should not interfere with his daily activities but should minimize the movement of his shoulder for some time. S.Coups is currently resting and recuperating to ensure inflammation does not develop in the area of his injury.
As a result, S.Coups was unfortunately unable to participate in the eighth mini-album planned for this week, including SEVENTEEN’s appearances on music shows for Mnet, KBS, and SBS, as well as the eighth fan show. SEVENTEEN’s mini-album “Your Choice.”
We will closely monitor S. Coups’ recovery and determine if he can participate in other activities without being overwhelmed. We want to confess to all the fans looking forward to SEVEN and ask for your generous understanding. We will prioritize treatment and recovery so that S.Coups can return to you in good health.
Thank you very much.
SEVENTEEN released their new album “Your Choice” on June 18. Unfortunately, upon their return to “Ready to Love” on Music Bank, the band postponed the remainder of their promotions after an employee received a positive test for COVID-19. S.Coups is currently resting and recuperating to ensure inflammation does not develop in the area of his injury. However, this week they will continue their activities. I wish S.Coups a speedy recovery!
