In his quest for the truth, he also uncovers an even greater mystery about an evil group known only as The Strangers. Last year Proyas returned to the Dark City universe with a new short film, The Mask of the Evil Ghost.
Proyas resented as part of a virtual presentation hosted through the Popcorn Frights film festival. According to Bloody Disgusting, in addition to the short film by Proyas, the exhibition also includes a virtual question-answer session with the director.
