In September 2019, Yerin back, then of okay-pop duo 15 &, made one of the most significant movements as a musician.
She announced her agreement had ended with jyp, certainly one of South Korea’s biggest amusement businesses. She would be beginning her independent label after spending 12 years of schooling and performing at jyp.
Baek released that label, blue vinyl, in November and endured the solo artist profession she started in 2015 at the same time as under jyp. From running at a massive company to walking your commercial enterprise, that shift meant seismic modifications for back and the track she made as she eventually had complete control.
It’s genuine that I used to be a little scared, but having spent quite a while working inside the machine of a large organization, I felt that it was about time for new reports,” baek informed of starting her label now, 365 days in. However, it’s a small label; it’s very encouraging to have my label. Even though there’s more weight on my shoulders, I feel freer and happier to work in a new device, amassing opinions with my small body of workers and setting our heads together.”
