Gal Gadot will lead Wonder Woman 3 in the role
Not surprisingly, but Gal Gadot will return to play Princess Diana the Amazonian Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, in the next few adventures. However, the rest of Wonder Woman 3’s current cast remains a mystery.
Although Asteria (Linda Carter) filmed a brief episodic scene in 1984’s Wonder Woman dash, it never became clear whether it was just a one-off appearance by the legendary Amazonian warrior and actress from the TV show Wonder Woman or the start of something that would be explored at some point in the sequel. Screenwriter and director Patti Jenkins returns for Wonder Woman 3
Trying to imagine a world where Patty Jenkins won’t be back to finish what she started with the Wonder Woman franchise is something no one wants to do, and thankfully we don’t have to either.
Although Jenkins initially made comments during an interview with Vanity Fair that left his role as director for the upcoming Triquel unclear beyond writing the script, it has since been revealed that he will be returning for the third time (as well as a mysterious spin-off based on Amazon).
