- Russos and Taika Waititi celebrated Chris Hemsworth’s birthday by sharing the fun BTS Thor from Avengers: Infinity War & Thor: Love & Thunder.
To celebrate Chris Hemsworth’s birthday, Marvel Studios executives shared Thor’s cheerful post on BTS. The actor played the god of thunder in the MCU and is in the Phase 1 franchise, making him one of the most experienced actors in the universe, and it doesn’t look like the rainbow is coming to an end.
After the last few tumultuous years for the god of thunder, starting with the death of his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and the destruction of Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok, he is sent on a personal journey through the Avengers films. He is now ready to continue his story through Thor: Love and Thunder, which will reunite him with director Taika Waititi when they first collaborated on the 2017 production and release date.
However, the main photo was finally completed a few months ago. But while the Thor: Love and Thunder pickup is currently underway in the US, Hemsworth doesn’t appear to have been called up as he recently celebrated his birthday in Australia.
In light of this case, Whitey and the Rousseau Brothers separately shared some of the behind-the-scenes content of the actor as he played Thor.
Whitey posted a photo of the star putting on makeup for Thor: Love and Thunder. At the same time, the Russos congratulatory video featured a quote from Joe Russo leading him while filming Wakanda’s epic battle in Avengers: Infinity War. See below:
Mark Ruffalo had previously congratulated his colleagues from the MCU on social media. Instead, actor Hulk shared a photo of Hemsworth on the set of Avengers: Endgame. Interestingly, however, the god of thunder in the image is not wearing his thick suit, even though he is Fat Thor for most of the film. Instead, Waititi and Russos maintained a playful tone in their respective greetings to Hemsworth.
The former joked that his hairline was “pulling forward” as he approached his loose mane. While the latter joked about the muscles of the Australian scandal.
As soon as production on Thor: Love and Thunder concludes, it’s safe to say that the first official appearance of the film will not belong. Of course, there are still reshoots; chances are Waititi can now make a good trailer as he did for Ragnarok. It’s only a matter of time before Hemsworth returns to the screen as Thor. But before that, he’ll be in Marvels. What if…? First, he revealed his hero from the Asgardian prince.
