- Grammy-winning rapper Lil Nas X released the video and song for his long-awaited third single “Industry Baby” on Friday, and fans are loving it.
A week before its release, the rodeo star was furious about his alleged courtroom appearance on Monday for the drama “Satan’s Shoes” with Nike following the release of “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” The rapper from “Old Town Road” also teased “Industry Baby” in various TikTok videos with a fragment used as audio.
However, on Monday, Lil Nas released a teaser video, revealing that all of his releases were aimed at an “Industry Baby” release. He released the video for the song with the single, which contains a prison theme, along with one of the hottest new rappers, Jack Harlow. Lil Nas is seen in various productions at Montero Prison in the video, including dancing with his backup dancers naked.
He also cited another video, along with the iconic BET Kiss poster. American horror story star Colton Haynes also makes a cameo in the video. Fans sang his praises online, and many praised him for once again paving the way for black queers to be introduced to the music industry.
Lil Nas X previously admitted that she was “insecure” about her sexuality after being “conditioned” to “hate” gays. The 22-year-old rapper admits he tried to “wean off” his attitude growing up, and although he’s taking steps, he still has a “long way to go.” Lil Nas confessed in response to the homophobic reaction she received after performing at the BET Awards. She finished her “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” by passionately kissing her backup dancer.
One reviewer tweeted, “You are very insecure about your sexuality that you overcompensate for it at every turn. Getting to know each other gay doesn’t have to remind everyone that they are gay constantly. ” LIL Nas replied, “You’re right; I’m not sure about my sexuality. I still have a long way to go. But, I never deny this.”
